At the heart of any sustainable, long-term solution to the world’s most pressing challenges lies industrialization, a proven engine of economic growth and social progress. However, today’s approach to industrial development must be markedly different from past practices. It mus t prioritize sustainability, inclusivity and resilience to empower the global population, particularly in developing countries, to achieve prosperity without jeopardizing the environment or exacerbating existing inequalities . At the same time, it must keep pace with rapid technological advancements, leveraging new materials and implementing new production processes to create innovative products .
