Technology transfer and investment dialogue: connecting Europe and Central Asia with the Gulf for sustainable industrial growth.


The inter-regional side event will foster dialogue between Europe and Central Asia and the Arab region to identify opportunities for cross-regional industrial cooperation, technology transfer and investment promotion. Bringing together ministries, business leaders and financial institutions, the event will highlight successful innovation partnerships and explore new mechanisms for mobilizing investment, enhancing access to finance and technology, as well as accelerating the green and digital transition.

The UN Security Council Arria Formula Meeting is convened by: Sierra Leone. Co-sponsors: Guyana; Democratic Republic of Congo and Liberia (Incoming Members). The Arria Formula meeting organized by the Permanent Mission of Sierra Leone to the United Nations, presents an opportunity to examine the evolving geopolitical and security implications of the global race for critical minerals in Africa, and to assess the impact of mineral exploitation on peace, governance, stability, and human rights.
